Q: How long will it take to learn to use the product?
A: As with most operational changes, you will need to allow some time for initial
training and bedding in. We recommend that the project owner sets aside 3/4
days to allow for this. Back to top
Q: Is a technical background necessary to understand and use the system?
A: No. Tailored Interiors is a user friendly product that has
been developed for a non-technical end user. The interface is clear and intuitive,
and a help manual is included with the product. Full training can also be
provided, as well as complete product support services. Back to top
Q: Does Tailored Interiors come with a guarantee or warranty?
A: The service guarantee we offer covers all problems or bugs
that may arise during installation and roll-out of the software. Unlike many
other new products on the market Tailored Interiors is based on a very robust
4D database that has benefited from over 15 years previous development and
improvement. A clear advantage of this is that the product is extremely
stable and not prone to teething problems. For more information on 4D
please visit their web
site or view the independent Aberdeen
report. Back to top
Q: How long from when I place the order, will Tailored
Interiors be up and running in my organisation?
A: This will depend on the scale of the installation and your requirements,
but based on a 2 user entry level system, Tailored Interiors could be up and
running within 1 week from the end of the business day the order was placed. Back to top
Q: How can Tailored Interiors save me time and money?
A: Tailored Interiors has been designed specifically to manage
interior design or shop fitting projects. This means that every aspect of the
project is managed and aggregated through a single interface. All supplier,
customer, and cost (both internal and external) details are available at
the push of a button and normally laborious tasks such as creating multiple
purchase orders can be 'batched' together. This information is then posted
straight to your existing accounts package, all of which results in increased
efficiency and a huge saving of man hours and money. Back

Q: I would like to have a single point of contact for
all of my IT requirements, is this possible?
A: Yes. The team at Tailored Interiors can provide complete
IT services, including purchasing, installation and support of hardware, software
and internet connectivity. As the relationship develops, it is also our policy
to pass on any knowledge we can to our customers' staff, so that minor queries
can be dealt with in-house and do not require time to be deducted from the
support agreement. Back to top
Q: Will the system be able to run on Apple Mac, as well
as Windows work stations?
A: Yes. Tailored Interiors is powered by 4D server technology.
One of the distinct advantages of 4D is its ability to run on both Apple and
Windows operating systems. Back to top
Q: What about my existing database? Will I lose any data
if I upgrade to Tailored Interiors?
A: No. Importing data from old 'legacy' systems is a standard
service provided by the Tailored Interiors technical team. There
is no need to re-enter any of your existing clients or suppliers. Back

Q: Who’s using Tailored Interiors and can I contact
them for a referral?
A: Tailored Interiors was designed in partnership with John Stefanidis, one
of the world's leading interior design agencies. Contact details can be provided
on request. Back to top
